On behalf of Salt Spring Hospice Society, we would like to offer our sincerest appreciation to the community at large for your patience, kindness and understanding with having the many riders of the Cycle of Life Tour (COLT) cycling across from Vesuvius to Fulford last weekend.
Secondly, to those members of our community and members of Hospice, who took the time out of their weekend to volunteer, whether for a few hours or for the entire event. We can't thank you enough for your commitment, hard work and especially your kindness to the riders. The event couldn't have happened without all of you.
And last but not least, a huge THANK YOU to our local businesses for supporting our hospice by offering donations in kind, to gift the top riders. Thank you, Mouats, Old Salty, Salt Spring Books, Salt Spring Inn, Salt Spring Wild Cider,

& Kitty & Humberto Martinho, for your generous and kind donations.
So far COLT has raised $350,000 for compassionate end-of-life care across Vancouver Island and funds are still coming in. If you would like to donate, there is still until the end of the week to do so. You can either go to the website or you can pop into the hospice office at 127 Rainbow Road between 9-3pm.
